Like fine hardwoods or precious veneers, leather comes in varying colours, textures and qualities. Adrian uses a very fine yet rugged vegetable tan leather imported from Italy for his slung chairs and aircraft grade leather imported from Scotland for upholstery applications. Both are luxurious, extremely durable and will not stain. Veg tan is a thick saddle like leather that will only get better looking with use and age. Sourcing fine leather is an ongoing pursuit for Adrian. So too is teaming up with talented and skilled craftsmen who lend their expertise to the designing, tooling and stitching of each leather component destined to become a piece of Ferrazzutti furniture.
